Well, as you all know, school is in (or most of us are going back soon), and I've been back for a week. I'll save you the trouble of reading the classic "school's taking up all my time sorry sorry" because we all know school takes up time but not every second of your life so it's not impossible to spend an hour every so often working on your website that's just a lame excuse for saying you're really either too lazy with really is a lame excuse because everybody uses it to cover up that either they're in some kind of mind-numbing slump or that they just don't care anymore hopefully the former but I for some it's the latter not for me no sirree just look at the previous news post

Anyway, I have a lot of great ideas for the site upgrade (that's uh, turning into some kind of a "version four", but ha ha, no, it's not, REALLY, IT'S NOT, DON'T EVER SAY THAT AGAIN OR I'LL KILL YOU), so my only defense is that I'm kind of in a slump right now, I had a hard time getting into all the classes I wanted to and all the jumping around and without any good sleep I'm just feeling a little stressed out, let's hope it all blows over soon and we can get on with our lives.

Speaking of which, is it just me, or did everybody go crazy about that excalibur thing when I made that my avatar the other day after Electron showed me that horribly obnoxious white looking freak dancing around singing about some kind of sword and going to my hometown and killing me and waiting for kings?

On a final note, I get SO MUCH D#%! SPAM that I'm going to be changing my e-mail address very soon. It's going to be a pain in the a*^ but I get about 50 spam messages every day, it's getting ridiculous, and I'm sure I'm missing a million emails because people don't put subjects in that look anything particularly non-spammy. I thought I'd just say that. You know. 'Cause I'm like that.

I... I've lost interest in Pokemon, anime, gaming in general. I just don't see the point in it. I always thought I would love Pokemon forever, but I guess that's not true. I think I'm going to start a new design website where I can focus on things that are more serious, where I can actually make some headway into my webmastering career. I'm sorry everyone, and thanks for all the good times we've had!

Moderation Panel: We'll finally be able to hire forum moderators!
Layout: Of course... there will be one universal layout for the RPG, fansite, and community.
RPG Content: The RPG will be given a huge revamp. Physically it will seem smaller (losing its huge subsite layout) the content will be increased massively, with tons more quests, items, and minigames. There'll be tons of new ways to interact with your Eevee too, and the "happiness" and "hunger" features will really debut. And since your Eevee lives at your base, visitors who interact with it will help its happiness increase even faster.
Fansite Content: Of course, we want to maintain the fansite portion of EHQ, so there'll be a huge amount of content
Money: Since the whole site will share one layout, there'll be a lot more opportunities to earn money - and to spend it. Large (non-spam) posts will earn you Eeveebucks, and so will frequent site activity and new user referrals.

Upgraded Content
User Bases: Bases will now be better than ever! They'll be ten times more customizable (even fully CSS-editable). I can't elaborate too much (because I haven't decided completey on how they will work) but believe me, they'll be cool.
Clubs: The incomplete and malfunctioning "societies" will now be replaced with a brand-new club system. You can own up to ten clubs and join up to 100. Club features will be color editing, calendar, addons (like raffles for items and money, or customizable [for instance, services like art etc]), and mini discussion boards.

Please, if you have a suggestion, please post it in this thread so I can keep track of them all! (and yes, I've read the mailbag suggestions, and will put some of them into action).

Overall, the site upgrade will really polish up everything left done since v3's release so everybody can be much happier :3 This is a big site upgrade, so it may take a long time. I wouldn't expect anything for a long time, although it shouldn't be any longer than early September/late August? *shrug*
